βReally enjoyed stopping by Cafe Aroma after visiting the nearby center. We came in to warm up with tea, and I had a hibiscus tea, which was lovely. The atmosphere felt cozy and calm, and I really appreciated how clean and well kept everything was. There's a good selection of sandwiches and drinks, and the seating is comfortable. Overall, a very pleasant spot if you're in the area and looking for a nice place to relax, warm up, and grab something simple and good.β

βWe went up to the TKTS booths at the Lincoln Center to get some more discounted theatre tickets but discovered it was shut when we arrived! - we had made the rookie mistake of not checking their opening times before we set off, which would have told us they are closed on Mondays. We couldn't even get a hot drink in The Lincoln Center lobby like we did on our last visit as that was also closed. We'd passed a very busy bakery cafe on our walk up to The Lincoln Center from the subway station so we went into Cafe Roma for some hot drinks instead. The cafe was very bright, clean, inviting & busy with a steady stream of customers coming and going. My wife had her usual one shot milky latte, which she really enjoyed. I had an English breakfast tea and we shared a delicious traditional almond croissant that had a very tasty almond paste inside, which the very helpful server heated up for us. There are quite a few tables with seating inside the cafe so we grabbed one. There are also a couple of tables on the pavement outside and a restroom at the back of the cafe. All their breads & pastries are baked fresh instore and the different foods in the various refrigerated cabinets all looked very tempting. We would have tried a bagel or sandwich if we weren't heading to lunch afterwards. We returned to the TKTS booths at the Lincoln Center the next day and after buying our theatre tickets we went back to Cafe Aroma for some brunch. My wife had a delicious, juicy & tasty classic Angus beef burger and a strawberry & custard croissant with a cuppa tea. I had a classic sliced ribeye cheesesteak sandwich and an almond croissant with a cuppa tea. The food was delicious and excellent value for money.β

βNeeded to escape the cold. Ordered a caramel latte and a chocolate chip cookie at 4:45pm on a Friday. The cookie was still warm and soft. The latte was very tasty. I would come here again if/when in the area.β
