“I moved to NYC from Guyana roughly three years ago. Personally, I avoid Guyanese restaurants because of their lack of authenticity but my mother insisted that we give this one a try. This is now an added stop on our way to Utica for grocery shopping. The food is truly amazing and reminds me of home. Honestly, hands down the best Guyanese restaurant in NYC. You will not be disappointed with the food (very generous with the portions) or price point. And the customer service is exceptional.”

“I was in the neighborhood visiting a friend and remembered there was a spot called East coast or west coast or something to that effect nearby. Upon entering I was undecided about what I wanted to order but saw a gentleman ask for white pudding. I ended up ordering the white pudding, an eggball and a cheese roll. The server assured me that I wouldn't be disappointed after I inquired about the taste. She definitely wasn't lying. I felt like I was back home in Guyana. No photos to post because the food disappeared before I could take a photo.”
