β€œLovely Romanian restaurant with live music to accompany your meal, bit out of the way but worth a visit. The dishes are large for sharing and well cooked, meat still tender. A lot of carbs with the dishes, not too big of a fan of the saisages. No comment on the throne side table”

β€œZacusca (eggplant spread), sarmale (stuffed cabbage), and mititei (garlicky grilled skinless sausage) were sooo good. Super authentic Romanian food. The lamb pastrama was OK as well, I would say for those unfamiliar with Romanian cuisine to stick to the traditional dishes.”

β€œFeels just like home I had an amazing lunch experience at Danubius Restaurant--it truly felt like being back in Romania. The food is incredibly fresh, flavorful, and authentic. Every bite reminded me of home-cooked meals from back in the day. The staff was extremely welcoming and kind, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. It's rare to find a place in NYC that captures the warmth and hospitality of Romania so perfectly. I found out the owners are from Galati, and you can truly taste the love and tradition in every dish. Definitely coming back for dinner--if lunch was this good, I can't wait to try the rest of the menu. Highly recommend!”
