βHosted a birthday dinner for my 30th here last week. From the moment I messaged the event planner to stepping inside the restaurant for the night was amazing. Bianca was truly amazing to communicate with and made everything what I wanted perfect. Everyone and the owner Nick were amazing. Food was so so delicious. Cocktails amazing! Can't recommend this place enough! Will deff be back soon!β

βCool LES spot with great energy--started with dinner upstairs (squid ink crispy rice and grilled octopus were highlights--flavorful and fun twists on Croatian vibes). Cocktails are bright and inventive, perfect for lingering. Service was attentive and chill, even as it got busier. Atmosphere nails it: moody, intimate tables turning into a lively dance floor downstairs after 9pm--disco lights, good music, magic feel. Food solid but not mind-blowing for the price--portions smallish. Great for a fun night out!β

βEarly terrible, new Croatian spot? When I saw the menu online I knew I was in for a treat but I didn't think that the food was going to be as good as it was. Grace was a doll and told me all about the cultural influences, cocktails and mock tails she had to offer. Usually when I eat out I find it hard to decide what I really want, this time it was equally as difficult but I solved it the only way I knew how; by practically ordering everything on the menu. Apps are always my favorite and none of them fell short of spectacular. Chicken liver pate was smooth, rich and decadent. The warm rustic bread was a perfect pairing. It kept on getting better from there. Fresh scallop crudo with notes of citrus, mushroom and fruit? Sign me up for another order. And don't even get me started on the squid ink crispy rice. Don't be afraid of the black rice! Your pallet with be showered with notes of fresh and velvety sushi grade tuna and a warm burn from the calabrian chili. No spicy mayo in sight, just the way I like it. Had a lovely tamarind ginger mule while transitioning into the main courses. My favorites were the grilled octopus/croatian octopus salad, pork chop and wood fired chicken. The pork chop was perfectly salted, meaty, crispy, and delicious. The chicken was juicy, flavorful and fell off the bone. The sides were also bomb. The Swiss chard and potatoes were chefs kiss. An unusual addition to the evening was the wood fired romanesco broccoli (green cauliflower) in a rich tomato sauce. Never had anything like it but can see myself ordering again when feeling frisky. I was stuffed but Grace insisted on some dessert to end on a sweet note. Basque cheesecake was decadent and flavorful, creamy but not too rich. Strawberry rhubarb crepe was perfectly balanced and not too sweet, just the right amount of tart and bite. This little gem is tucked away on broome and if you walked by with your head in the clouds you might not even notice it. This place turns into a lounge with fun music and vibes I can't wait to be wined and dined here again soon!β
