“A decent enough place for breakfast. The menu has most of the basics including tea and coffee. The layout of the place stood out as the highlight; tall ceilings, big windows, lots of natural light in the daytime. The tables aren't overcramped so it's easy enough to have a light chat without feeling like other tables are hearing the whole conversation. The food itself was unremarkable, and the service was acceptable though on this morning the waitstaff appeared more tired than most of the clientele. Given what I noticed at other tables, a good number of the diners appeared to be using this place more to take meetings or to have a light business/catchup meal with colleagues and friends at the start of the day; so for this reason perhaps the food and service are less important than the atmosphere and quiet of the place. Still, considering this restaurant is nestled in a hotel it's pretty good.”

“Everdene at the Virgin Hotel NYC delivered a great dining experience. I ordered the half chicken dinner and it was outstanding. The skin was perfectly crispy while the meat stayed juicy and flavorful. You can tell a lot of care goes into the preparation and presentation. What really elevated the experience was the service. Dawn took great care of me throughout the evening. She was attentive, welcoming, and made sure everything came out perfectly. Her hospitality made the meal even more enjoyable. If you are visiting the Virgin Hotel or looking for a great spot in NYC, Everdene is definitely worth checking out. Great food, great atmosphere, and excellent service.”

“a beautiful spacious interior with terrace. i've only ever been here when it's cold so i can't say i've experienced the outdoor deck. it looks like it wraps around the restaurant though. they have djs rotating nightly. wait service is hit or miss. sometimes they are very attentive where they rush you to order, other times there is no wait staff to be found and when you do, it's impossible to get what you ordered. the first time was a bit rushed but the burger and fries are above average. the ribs are not bad although i think they could be MORE tender. bar stays busy so its a bit difficult to order anything more than beer.”
