β€œThis is hands down my favorite neighborhood spot. Everything I've tried has been consistently delicious, but their tortillas truly stand out. The birria & consome tacos are my top pick, though the mushroom tacos and flautas encabronadas are also a must-try. Pair your meal with a nixtarita, or go for the horchata if you're skipping alcohol -- you can't go wrong either way.”

β€œI ordered two tacos here to spend some time with a friend who I hadn't seen in a long time. The cashier got my order completely wrong, but I was so wrapped up in the conversation I didn't really realize until I'd eaten one. (I'd had few options as a vegetarian so the "vegetarian option" I was given didn't register as wrong until it was almost too late.) I returned the other taco and asked if they could just charge me the difference (in *addition* to what I already paid) and give me what I actually ordered. The cashier refused to do this and walked away from me. The taco I had was pretty terrible so I insisted something be done (any good restaurant would fix the issue right away and not even charge extra). The cashier finally offered to give me one of the tacos I originally ordered (remember, originally the order was for 2) and charged me $4 to add avocado to it. So, I ended up paying almost $15 for a terrible taco I didn't order and one decent taco that I did order. Never again.”

β€œTortilla soup was so good, I wish they offered a larger size. Flavorful with a lot of pieces of blue corn tortillas, and a great thick consistency. The bean / epazote tetelas was a great side to it. Pictured is the black bean/avocado tlayudita and chilaquiles (both really great, but you do have to add all those extras on the chilaquiles which makes it quite expensive). Came on a Sunday around 2, and had no problem finding seating outside. Overall great food and vibe”
