“I had such a great experience at Fresco's Cantina! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was energetic, fun, and welcoming. The atmosphere is perfect whether you're going for a casual dinner, happy hour, or celebrating with friends. The food was absolutely delicious fresh, flavorful, and full of authentic Mexican taste. The tacos were packed with flavor, the portions were generous, and everything came out hot and perfectly prepared. And the drinks? Top-tier. The margaritas were refreshing and made just right. What really stood out was the service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without feeling rushed. If you're in Astoria and craving great Mexican food with a lively atmosphere, Fresco's Cantina is definitely the spot. Can't wait to go back!”

“This location is absolutely beautiful--the music was on point, and the food, drinks, and service were truly top tier when I visited on Valentine's Day which gave me the idea to host an event. I threw a surprise birthday brunch for my parents on Sunday, 2/22, with 25 guests, and despite an incoming snowstorm and a few last-minute cancellations, nothing dampened our celebration. The show definitely went on! The team was incredibly accommodating--we were able to move our reservation up, were set up on the second floor, and I even got to use my own playlist tailored specifically to my guests. Everyone was in awe of the space. The open-bar drinks were delicious, the food was thoroughly enjoyed by all, and the overall vibe was just perfect. My guests had such a great time that no one wanted to leave. The space itself is exceptional, and the service and quality were outstanding from start to finish. If you're looking for a spot with amazing food and drinks and an incredible space to host a celebration, I highly recommend this place.”

“We arrived at 1:30 PM for a birthday party reservation, only to find out the restaurant was closed until 2:00 PM. I personally had to wait over 30 minutes outside in the cold, along with other guests, despite having a confirmed reservation. Once seated, the experience continued to go downhill. My plate was made incorrectly, and I had to wait over 25 minutes for it to be corrected, meaning I ate long after the rest of my party. On top of that, multiple people in our group received cold food. I even spoke to one of the drag performers, who told me she had put us down for a round of shots because of everything that happened. That was never delivered, and no one followed up or acknowledged it. We had no issue paying the bill, but when you bring in a large party--especially for a birthday--basic organization, communication, and service should be a given. Instead, the entire experience felt careless and poorly handled. Update: After leaving this review, instead of addressing the feedback professionally, management chose to reach out to a member of my party to confront them about my review. That crossed a line and made an already bad experience even worse. Feedback should be handled respectfully, not taken out on guests after the fact.”
