Hibiscus Brew
Hibiscus Brew is a female, black-owned, Brooklyn cafe born out of the pandemic that is bringing joy to Prospect Lefferts Gardens (PLG) one tummy at a time. We offer our signature sorrel drink, delicious and healthy smoothies, coffee and vegan pastries. We believe that food is a way to bring Brooklynites of all types together to laugh, share, and nourish each other in these unprecedented times. Owned by Jamaican-American Allison Dunn, Hibiscus Brew provides food and community to those in PLG inspired by our Caribbean roots.

βHibiscus Brew is such a gem! I love stopping by in the morning for my favorites -- a hot dirty chai and an ice-cold blue magic. Both drinks are consistently delicious, which keeps me coming back.Beyond the amazing drinks, they have a great selection of healthy options -- overnight oats, fresh fruit cups, cold-pressed juices, and of course, the hibiscus sorrel mocktail, all of which are must-tries. The space is cozy, the vibe is peaceful, and it's the perfect place to start the day. Also, I would like to thank Angel the barista who always remembers my order -- it's the little things that make this place feel so special!β

βStopped by as a part of a community event today and had a great experience inside. Staff were friendly and drinks were unique and interesting! It's also a local Jamaican owned small business so felt awesome to show love!β
