Le Pain Quotidien
Le Pain Quotidien at Times Square is a Belgian bakery and restaurant on Broadway at 40th Street -- right in the centre of it all, but resolutely calm inside. A place to slow down over organic sourdough, fresh-baked croissants and proper specialty coffee before the rest of Midtown wakes up. We serve breakfast and lunch: tartines on house-baked bread, eggs, seasonal salads, soups and a full range of vegan and vegetarian dishes. All made with natural ingredients, and organic wherever possible. Breakfast to go or a proper sit-down -- open from 6:30am every day.

βI am incredibly picky about my coffee, but this place absolutely nailed it! I really enjoyed the cappuccino with almond milk and 1 suger. I went there 2pm in my lunch break when my energy level dropped to zero. After having a coffee I was charged for next half. The girl on cash register was so professional and knowledgeable. Very clean and cozy space. Restrooms are very clean. Will come back again.β

βI hopped in here after meeting my wife after her workday. The place was clean, and the service was perfect. She ordered a cookie, and I had a French cream doughnut to hold us over until dinner. I can't wait to come again in the morning when they are fully stocked. Great location with inside and outside seating.β

βAutumn is a pleasant place. I ordered from the brunch menu and did not regret it. The food was delicious and fresh, cooked in 20-25 minutes. I would also like to note the very pleasant staff. We had one of the nicest waiters I have met. He helped to decide what to order, recommended a dessert, made delicious coffee. Big guy with black beard if you're reading this - you've made our day!β
