βNice and cozy place to drink coffee on the go, eat some tasty sandwich, cupcake or so. There is a restroom as well which is helpful, because not every Starbucks even have it. So definitely recommendβ

β((3.5 stars)) fairly large Le Pain Quotidien location for Manhattan. clean, brightly lit-- a good amount of tables and seating, not cramped at all. and located several blocks from Bryant Park which makes it convenient for picking up coffee and a bite pre- or post- the park or if you're strolling through the area. to me, Le Pain Quotidien is all about her French Cream Doughnut. though i do think they have change how it's made from when i first had it years ago. it's a simple doughnut--brioche doughnut filled with French cream topped with powdered sugar . that said, it's still a worthwhile order when you want a doughnut that isn't overly sweet but something satisfyingly creamy pastry. this location seem very understaffed, based on foot traffic in a very busy area. will note that there was slow service at the counter bc staff are doing 8 million things in the store--ended up not getting a coffee, here bc just ordering took too long. they seem to run out of containers and such for things like the pastries (at least they did when i was there) and while not a huge deal, it is an inconvenience. not really blaming the staff--and hopefully they cured these issues since. anyway do not pass on the French Cream donutβ

βThe matcha latte was really nice. Yeah - probably you can find a better one in NYC - but it's definitely good! The iced coffee was also great! Strong and tasteful. We also tried the Belgium Chocolate Brownie- it was really tasty and not too sweet. You can sit outside and enjoy the street life. Definitely recommend.β
