Maiko Matcha Cafe

“I've first found out about this Matcha spot when it first opened up in the Rockefeller Plaza. My favorite type of drink is Matcha--but after going here, my FAVORITE place to get it from is Maiko Matcha Cafe. They have a variety of flavors and additives to choose from. I've had a majority of drinks and I can say, one of my favorites is the Sakura Matcha Latte; however there's too many other good options...SO it's safe to say EXPLORE! It's worth the money! They have seasonal drinks that are very good such as the Pandan Coconut Matcha Latte. The service is also a 10/10 every staff member I have encountered is patient, and friendly. Shout out to Kenny, he is an employee I often run into, and he ALWAYS makes the drinks really good! He understands the assignment The atmosphere is very clean, just not spacious. This is beyond the employees control of course, but the establishment made a great improvement by installing two kiosks which were not there when they first opened. So great way of efficiently working out the capacity flow. Finally, I understand everyone has their own preferred Matcha spot, but clearly it's because you haven't been to Maiko Matcha . This spot over any other, all day any day!”

“I went for the first time, spent over $20+ and I was able to get a red envelope giveaway. I won a $50 gift card ! I was so thrilled. The matcha float was amazing. I wanted everything on their menu. The second time I got a Ube foam matcha latte. Also delish! Must go.”

“They have amazing onigiri, including matcha. Me and my partner tried two onigiri(garlic&miso and eel) the garlic one was so good we ended up going here everyday throughout the whole time we were in nyc. I'm not 100% sure but it feels like they make it on the spot when you order it. Most matcha menus are pretty good. If you're not into sweet stuff, I recommend you to try matcha icecream with 0% sweetness. Highly recommend this place!!! ”
