“I love this place! The Nutella croissant is insanely delicious! The Yemeni black/red tea honestly shocked me in a good way--first time having it with a touch of cinnamon and to be honest I went to other Yemeni cafes in Astoria looking for this exact tea and I was disappointed. I wouldn't recommend Dubai choc strawberries but only because it's never been my preference. The adeni tea tastes like all other Yemeni cafes, nothing spectacular. Tuna sandwich was light and just what I needed for a quick bite. The aesthetic of this place is splendid. This location is also very spacious. I randomly think of this place at night when I want a good tea & pastry.”

“An awesome place to come and relax!! The service is great, the young lady at the counter is so sweet and friendly. I was hesitant in trying the Qishr coffee; I'm glad I did. ITS DELICIOUS!!! We had the honeycomb with cheese and honey. We also had the mango fruit bowl was sooo GOOD!! The food is brought to your table in a tray!! I RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!”

“Matari Coffee is hands down one of our favorite spots! The atmosphere is always such a vibe -- very well lit, great music, and just an overall welcoming energy every time we walk in. The drinks never disappoint, and you can truly taste the quality in every sip. We've basically tried everything on the menu so far, and the drinks and food never disappoint. Our current favorites are the white chocolate macadamia latte and the pistachio latte. Both are so flavorful and perfectly made every time. We also love that they're always coming out with new flavors and creative recipes, so there's always something exciting to try. Ali makes amazing drinks and always gets them just right! And the owner, Alex, is so cool and genuinely cares about the experience -- you can tell they go above and beyond with service. It's rare to find a place that consistently delivers great drinks and great customer service, but Matari does it every time. My family absolutely loves going there. Highly recommend!”
