βThis Shake Shack is conveniently located inside Penn Station, perfect for grabbing a bite before or after a train ride. I was returning to Penn via Amtrak, so I stopped by for some fries before heading home. Ordering on the tablets was easy and my fries were ready within a couple of minutes. Almost $5 feels overpriced for basic fries, but I guess they're NY prices. It's not a large space and can get pretty busy, but people don't seem to stay for too long. I was able to grab a table and left within 10 minutes.β

βI tend to shy away from reviews of fast food restaurants unless it's a polar experience. Not sure why this location has stirred my interest but the experience was great from start to finish . Ordering was simple and convenient. Food was pretty good but it seems like there's a staff member who provides exceptional service to everyone! Aaron is extremely helpful and gives better service than some 5 star restaurants. He's definitely an asset in such a fast moving industry and city at that.β

βI stopped into this shake shack location for a quick bite to eat before getting on my train back home. I made sure to get to the train station well over an hour early so I would have enough time to order my food sit down and eat and make it to my train all without having to rush but this shake shack location completely caught me by surprise. Although it was a little busy in there the people in my party and I ordered our food with little problem but everything just went downhill from there. At fist we waited 10 minutes with no sign of the food coming out anytime soon, so we asked an employee who worked there about the status of our food, mind you it was one grilled cheese and two sides of fries. The grilled cheese came out fairly quickly while the fries felt like they took years to come out. The people in my party and I asked the employees about the status of our two sides of fries around six times and would mostly get ignored or given an excuse as to why our food was not out yet. Mind you while all this was going on many employees were helping themselves to fries grabbing them directly from the fryer with no gloves or anything. At this point we had been waiting for around 25-30 minutes and were getting fed up. We finally got our food after around 45-50 minute of waiting which cause us to have to rush to our train almost not making it, which then led to there not being enough seats left on the train for all the people in my party to sit. This shake shack location completely regarded any means of customer service while also doing disgusting things like sticking theirs hands in the French fries that were being served to people without gloves. This location wasted my valuable time which led to more complications throughout the rest of my party's commute. if I could give this location 0 stars I would and if you have any means of getting food in a timely manner or making your train I wouldn't suggest this as a place to stop for a bite to eat.β
