You can't buy happiness but you can buy shawarma. Shawarmas are made with either lamb, chicken, beef, or a mix of different meats which are slow-cooked for hours and basted in their own juices and fat, gaining an incomparable succulence, but the real secret to a perfect shawarma is in the marinade. We also serve Chapli Kebab or Kabab is a Pashtun-style minced kebab, usually made from ground beef, mutton or chicken with various spices in the shape of a patty. We also serve Falafel which is a Middle Eastern food that's made from ground fava beans or chickpeas. And much more like hummus, chicken souvlaki sticks

β€œTop notch Halal With it's captivating unique flavors, Shwarma Bay stands out from the rest. This is not your typical Halal cart food. This has its own spices and flavor profile. You can taste the spices in the rice. The hot sauce is more of a creamy hot sauce unlike the red spicy hot you tend to get from other halal carts. Chicken and beef well made and sauces on point. Shwarma Bay is in its own category”

β€œThe line was shorter than Adel's which is about a block away, so if you're in the mood for good food but don't want to wait so long, come here. The chapli kebabs are unique with an afghani taste. What I loved the most was the taste of the sauces combined; it's really inexplicable, but if I had to describe it, it was savory, spicy, a hint of sweet, and just hits all your tastebuds. About $14-15 for a combo platter, so it's pretty good. They open ~7:30pm. If you're not there early, you can expect maybe a 30min wait.”

β€œHad their 2 way combo platter, 2 days back to back during my visit to NYC! It was absolutely delicious! A lot of people will talk about the meat (which were great) but for me, the rice was the stand out - perfectly spiced which complimented the meats very well. Service was really friendly and quick as well. Waited no more that 10/15mins during both times. No long queues, but as good, if not better than others.”
