Zhongzhong Noodles - Brooklyn
Inspired by Chongqing city in Sichuan province, one of the great food capitals of China, ZHONGZHONG NOODLES brings authentic flavors and signature dishes to New York. From our Zajiang Noodles and Braised Pork Rice Bowl to the Spicy Braised Beef Noodles we serve a selection of our favorite noodle and rice bowls. A noodle bar at heart, ZHONGZHONG NOODLES grew from our love of the family run restaurants of Szechuan. Intimate, warm, and full of rich flavors. Now in New York we evoke the legacy of these venues and combine with urban design that joins the imagery of the past and aesthetic of today.

βThis place is absolutely fantastic! My friend and I came here after doing pottery and had no idea what we were walking into. The menu is short, sweet and to the point, with a little bit of everything for everyone. We opted to share the Marinated Fried Chicken and the Shrimp and Corn Dumplings, while my friend got the Braised Pork Rice Bowl, and I got the Szechuan Braised Beef Noodle. Everything we had was fantastic; excellent portions and flavors all around. My friend wasn't a big fan of the chicken, but I personally loved it. Of all the items we had, both of us agreed that the braised pork was top tier. Everything else was good, but there was something that stood out with the flavors, textures, and just overall satisfaction you get from that dish. That one is HIGHLY recommended. I also opted to try the sour plum juice, which I don't think will be everyone's cup of tea, but I enjoyed it. All of these items were portioned generously, and didn't cost as much as you would think. We did get a discount as part of a promotion they were doing that was buy one get one 50% off for the bowls, but even at full price I would say that everything was worth it. The customer service here was also excellent. The gentleman at the front was very friendly and clear, and helped us to make our decisions. The interior of the restaurant was also very clean. If I had one criticism, it would be that the place is a bit small for anyone looking to dine in, as seating is limited. But that doesn't detract from the overall experience. I highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone in the area.β

βOrdered Chicken noodles from HungryPanda. After I poured in the soup, stirred for ten seconds and ready to take a bite, I saw those dirt and took the pictures. There were still so many dirt after I stirred the vege in soap. THIS RESTAURANT DOES NOT WASH VEGETABLES.β
